This project focused on the renovation and extension of a Victorian heritage house, approached with sensitivity to its historical significance. Our main objective was to carefully preserve and showcase the original Victorian features of the house, such as its facade details, internal moldings, and period joinery.
Designed in collaboration with Studio Doherty, we aimed to achieve a harmonious blend of these preserved features with newly introduced modern interiors that cater to the demands of contemporary living.
The extension features an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area designed to foster social interaction and provide a seamless flow between different functional spaces.
The entire design was thoughtfully developed with efficient space planning to optimize natural light, views, and overall usability.
