This project involved the renovation and extension of a Victorian heritage house. Working in collaboration with Studio Doherty, our primary goal was to carefully preserve and highlight the existing Victorian architectural details, such as ornate cornices, original fireplaces, and timber flooring, while seamlessly integrating them with modern interiors that provide updated functionality and a contemporary aesthetic.
The new extension to the rear includes a deck designed for outdoor living and entertainment, and an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area that promotes a sense of flow and connection, all thoughtfully designed with efficient space planning to maximize natural light and usability.
